Sea-Doo, also a brand name under Bombardier, is a watercraft line that has done tremendous things since 1968. The pride themselves on their variety of models, including: Towing, Recreation, Sport Fishing, and Performance. Just this year (2022) Sea-Doo was honored with the innovation award for their newest addition, The Switch Pontoon. Their watercraft paired with their quick dry and light apparel and gear, make for the perfect experience on the water.
Ski-Doo is a brand name of snowmobile manufactured by Bombardier Recreational Products. The first ever Ski-Doo was launched in 1959 as a new invention. The founder of the company began with a goal to create a propeller-driven snow plane and eventually turned his attention to a land-based vehicle. The invention became so ingrained within Canadian culture, that Bombardier's invention was listed in the top twenty of the CBC's The Greatest Canadian Invention List in 2007. Now we see where it evolved today, winning Sled Head awards for Rough Trail Sled Of The Year in 2018 and four prestigious recognitions at the Red Dot Awards, including none other than the Best of the Best award—the highest distinction in the competition—for the Ski-Doo Freeride, this past year!
Since 1972, Can-Am had their first manufactured high-performance motocross dirt bikes and since then evolved into the On-Road and Off-Road options you know today. Going back to 2005 winning the Utility Modified GNCC Championship, all the way to 2019 winning the Good Design USA award. Can-Am has never stopped surprising us.
Found back in 1934, KTM has been continuously providing innovation. Originally starting as a metalworking shop and then progressing to manufacturing motorcycles, this Austrian brand values purity, performance and adventure. They sponsor multiple riders like Cooper Webb, Aaaron Plesinger, and Brad Binder.
Since the beginning, Husqvarna has made themselves the most revered European motorcycle brand in modern times. Originally a metal-working company, was founded in 1689 in the southern Swedish town of “Huskvarna”, to produce muskets for the Swedish Army. Husqvarna’s 1983 500 4-stroke model marked yet another milestone. The exceptionally light and easy-handling off-roader had revolutionary features for the time and was the forerunner for a new generation of competition off-road 4-stroke motorcycles. In 2020 they expanded and became available in India, South East Asia and Latin America.
Lynx, a rare brand under Bombardier, is out of Finland. Starting in 1967 when a group of people started building the first prototype of the AS50 we know today, to now, where they have created a brand that lives up to the Scandinavian trail demands. Being primarily deep snow, they segment themselves as innovative & hardcore.
"It’s no coincidence that Bell is both the first name in speed and the first name in helmets. Born in the 1950's California hot rod and racing scene, Bell founder Roy Richter built an entire industry anticipating the unmet needs of those with a speed-hungry disposition. People wanted to drive fast … he corralled all the go-fast parts he could find into the world’s first speed shop. They wanted to race … he built them race cars. And when the need-for-speed started to reveal some grim realities, Roy did something about that too and Bell Helmets was born.
Roy Richter spent his life removing the limits of what was possible — and his unlimited spirit has been Bell’s guiding light for nearly 60 years, earning the admiration, trust and loyalty of generations of champions. Throughout those years nearly every advance on the list of helmet “firsts” were built under Bell’s auspices. That drive to anticipate and create continues, as much a part of Bell’s ethos today as it was back in Roy’s day.
Whether for auto racing, motorcycling or bicycling, Bell is synonymous with instilling confidence and enabling awesomeness. Established 1954, proven ever since."
"It is HJC’s continual goal to provide high quality, comfortable, and reasonably priced helmets to motorcyclists around the world. As a direct result of this mission, since 1992, HJC has succeeded in maintaining the status as the #1 helmet brand in North America (refer to Motorcycle Industry Magazine 1992-present). More importantly, motorcyclists worldwide make HJC their brand of choice. And with a wide selection of helmets in the mid to high-end range, HJC has expanded consumers’ choice in helmets."
"At age 17, Milt Reimer, FXR owner, started working part time at a Honda and Polaris dealer, in the small town of Morris, MB, about 50 kms south of Winnipeg. It was there he started racing motocross. He continued to work for 10 years at that dealership, and after realizing he really liked it, he bought the company. Even then, Milt says he believed being a dealer was just another step towards the next project. It was during the next 6 years that the business plans for a clothing company called FXR were created. Milt noticed that nobody was making high performance snow rider wear and started to design some items to be made up by a local garment manufacturer. The first beginnings were operated in the basement of his house.
FXR continued to grow and expand and by 2005, most of the FXR line was produced offshore. Because of Milt’s experience at the racetrack, FXR has always paid attention to sizing, fitting and venting in its snow clothes in order to provide the best product for its customers."
